Custom Communication Training

Communication competence is a priority for Vattenfall’s Strategy & Business Development Department, which spans three countries and demands strategic communication skills for both internal and external impact.

 

+ PROJECT

Design a half-day training that would complement previous professional development on storylining, but with a highly personalized approach and a focus on actionable methods and practical outcomes.

+ CHALLENGES

Providing a fresh take, offering value for all competence levels, aligning content with company and departmental objectives + fundamental needs of participants.

+ APPROACH

Since the participants had already been exposed to a lot of input on the concept of storylining, my first objective was to find out what was missing. I also used individual intake to pinpoint their shared core issues around communication in general, in order to directly address topics that were of value and benefit to the department as a whole. Of course, it was also key to teach clear, versatile strategies, and make the learning experience interactive and enjoyable.
